Own a Piece of Nostalgia
Goldrush CBRodz Sunset Utah

OWN THIS TRIBUTE GASSER, OWN THE “GOLD RUSH”!!

This car is a real eye catcher and it produces the horsepower to give you the feel of a genuine mid 60’s racer!!

“Gold Rush” is a real face magnet; it has been in various magazines and videos. It has been at Rockabilly Weekend in Las Vegas and to prove it’s more than a pretty coat of paint, it was a runner up in the 2007 burnout contest!!

“Gold Rush” started its life as a nearly rust free 1931 Ford coupe body. From that beginning this little Ford was placed on a new aftermarket stock type boxed frame.

Power is provided by a newly built tribute 409 (348 built to resemble a 409) outfitted with an Offenhauser intake and four 2 jet Rochester carbs. Exhaust is handled by custom Weed Bender Headers with no baffles. Cooling is provided by a large Griffin aluminum radiator and two 16 inch fans. The car runs about 210 on a 100 degree day and will cruise at 70 MPH all day long.

Power is delivered to the ’57 Chevy 4:11 posi 10 bolt rear end by a new 700R transmission. The 700R makes this car an absolute dream to drive! Power reaches the ground via a full set of vintage Cragars and the rear end is wearing a set of Hurst race tires! The front end features a period correct chromed straight front axel. This car has never been raced but it’s ready to go if that is your desire.

The car was professionally painted by our shop. It is metal flake yellow overlaid with seven coats of PPG urethane with era correct painted-on hand lettering and graphics. The interior is a beautiful white tuck and roll with vintage seatbelts. The interior is set off by a stunning chrome roll bar. This car has already won many awards and is sure to win many more!

“Gold Rush” is a driver; it has lights, a charging and cooling system. It is titled and registered in the state of Utah and it has been driven to many local shows. It has been driven about 1000 miles since its completion in 2007.

This car is a great value at $20,000 ($500 nonrefundable deposit is required). Nostalgia races are very popular right now and this is a fine example of a great period in racing history!
